St Helens Neighbourhood Policing Event

Arena Homes was one of the many agencies that attended the Neighbourhood Policing Event which took place on Tuesday 17th August in Church Square, St Helens Town Centre.

It was a PR event for the Police and all other agencies involved in dealing with crime and anti-social behaviour, and provided an opportunity to meet with the public and provide information about various initiatives relating to community safety.

We were able to distribute/display information in relation to the services that we provide.   We used the new trailer to promote this and spoke to people who passed us by and also our own tenants who wanted advice or had a query.

Despite the heavy rain the event was well attended and the fact that we had our trailer, which the EIT kindly set up for us, helped enormously and made the day a success.

The day was attended by Customer Service Managers - Jan Beckwith, Christine Clifford, Richard Bennett and Kay Horrocks; Site Supervisors from St Helens - Ste Fairhurst and Brian Chadwick; ASB Officer Jason Hill and Michelle Treacher from Income Management.

We worked with a representative from Starting Point and gave her a space on our trailer, due to the bad weather.  She has passed on her thanks and enjoyed working with us all.

Thanks to everyone for making it such a successful day.
