Arena Homes Board of Management has set up a new body to lead on improving the services that we provide residents.
Why?
The new body is called the Service Improvement Committee and is made up of Board Members and Senior Officers. It has been set up to make sure that there is a group whose key task is to monitor and improve arrangements for all of the services that we provide to our residents.
What?
Reporting directly to our Board of Management, the Service Improvement Committee will look directly at the following aspects of Arena Homes work.
- How we manage your homes
- How we let our properties
- Our Customer Service
- Repairs and maintenance services
- Grounds maintenance services
- How we deal with and learn from Complaints
- Leasehold services
- Adaptations Services
Who?
The new Committee, which held its first meeting on 12 March 2010, is Chaired by our Board Member, Haydn Hansford, and will include Board Members Graham Wood, Joanne Doyle, Jacqui Sinnott-Lacey, Christine McLoughlin and Bryan McPaul.
Resident Involvement
We are keen to make sure that the work that this Committee does involves residents right across Arena Homes, and so we have put together a plan to make sure we involve residents in coming along to the Committee to help us make decisions.
So that our Board members can visit as many areas as possible, we will also be holding our meetings out in the Community, and so we may well be coming to a venue near you in the future!
In addition, we will also publicise the work of the Committee through our website, and, of course, the In Touch magazine.
